Recorders enable multi-point data monitoring and gathering. Some paperless recorders monitor remotely via network and collect high-speed data using a SCADA system in different industrial processes such as power generation, water supply, steel making, petro-chemistry, and industrial machinery operations. There are inkjet recorders as well which use inkjet technology.
